Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness go shopping in The Hamptons

Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness enjoyed a pre-Fourth Of July shopping trip in The Hamptons on Friday.  

The longtime spouses, who have been married for 24 years, carried their bags as they strolled through a number of boutiques and stores. 

For their outing, the 51-year-old Wolverine star donned a black t-shirt and a pair of grey shorts from CrossFit.

In addition to displaying his muscular forearms, the father-of-two put safety first by wearing a cloth face mask amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

The Australian actress, who shares two adopted children, Ava, 14, and 20-year-old Oscar with her husband, wore an all-black ensemble, apart from a beige facial covering and matching slides. 

She made purchases from James Perse, while Jackman toted a small bag from Clic.

Hugh and Deborra-Lee recently rang in their 24th wedding anniversary together under quarantine. 

The Golden Globe marker marked the milestone by sharing an old picture of the pair from the 1990s in April. 

‘These 24 years have been the best of my life! And, as far as I can see, we keep getting better,’ Hugh wrote in a heartfelt Instagram tribute.

He added: ‘I love you Debs with every fiber of my soul. Happy anniversary.’ 

The lovebirds got married on 11 April 1996, just one year after meeting on set of the Australian drama Corelli. 

Earlier this year, Hugh told People that the secret to their happy marriage was ‘making time for each other and ‘always learning’ from one another.’

‘These 24 years have been the best of my life! And, as far as I can see, we keep getting better. ‘I love you Debs with every fiber of my soul,’ gushed Hugh to Instagram on Saturday 

He also said they consciously ‘reset’ their marriage from time to time, which means they don’t grow apart like many longtime couples do.

‘We’re always learning and humans change so you have to, even though we’ve been together 25 years, you gotta reset all the time,’ he said.

‘I’m always reeling in how funny she is and how amazing she is and how smart she is. The longer it goes on the better it gets.’
