Great Acting Performances In Bad Movies

These actors made some passable lemonade out of some really bad lemons.

We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us about actors who gave amazing performances in not-so-amazing movies, to the point that they made a bad movie watchable. Here’s what they said:

Tom Hiddleston as Loki in Thor: The Dark World

“I think we can all agree that the movie was terrible, but Tom’s performance as Loki was the best part of it by far!”

Viola Davis as Aibileen Clark and Octavia Spencer as Minny Jackson in The Help

Blumhouse Productions

“The movie had major issues with story and character choices, but Octavia is a master of her craft, did the work, and committed. Her character was fascinating to watch. While I didn’t love the movie, her performance was brilliant.”

Harrison Ford as Mike Pomeroy in Morning Glory

Bad Robot Prodcutions

“His acting brought some life and…
