Meghan Markle is allegedly trying to get acting jobs with the help of Tom Cruise and Reese Witherspoon.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have decided to settle down in Los Angeles after stepping back as senior members of the royal family. There are speculations that Markle is trying her luck to get back to Hollywood. However, one should take the report lightly because there is no proof to back those claims.

Meghan Markle met Tom Cruise for project

New Idea published a report with Meghan Markle and Tom Cruise on the cover. The outlet alleged that the Duchess of Sussex met the Mission Impossible star to ask for help so she could make a Hollywood comeback.

The outlet insisted that Markle was teaming up with Cruise to restart her career. The former Suits star decided to quit acting when she said “yes” to Prince Harry’s marriage proposal.

However, the royal life didn’t suit well for the couple after they welcomed their first baby, Archie. That’s why they moved away from the U.K. with the prospect of Markle returning to showbiz.

Gossip Cop debunked the report. According to the rumor-debunking site, the picture of Markle and Cruise on the cover was digitally altered. Also, no teaming-up is happening between Markle and Cruise.

Reese Witherspoon wrote a script for Meghan

In December 2019, Woman’s Day claimed that Reese Witherspoon was writing a script for Meghan Markle. The Morning Show star allegedly asked to meet Markle for a potential project, and Prince Harry was supportive.

However, it’s not true that the Legally Blonde star is penning something for Markle to star. A source close to Witherspoon said the report was fabricated.

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie fighting over Meghan

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have reignited their rivalry over Meghan Markle. Brad Pitt’s exes allegedly wanted to be associated with the royal.

“Both Jen and Ange want to spend time with Meghan and Harry once she’s in LA, which means they’re essentially rivals again and they’re both willing to put the boot into each other,” a source told Heat World.

“Virtually the whole of Hollywood wants to befriend them, so in some ways it’s not surprising Jen and Angie are planning to make a beeline for them.”

The rumored rivalry between Jolie and Aniston over Markle is not true. Months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to L.A. neither Jolie nor Aniston took the time to meet the couple.
